Cambridge Blinds & Shutters is a window-coverings business with roots dating back to 1976, with decades of blind-making experience across our team and operation. That background shapes how we work: we look at the window before we talk about products.

Windows are rarely as simple as they look. Bays, deep reveals, handles, opening sections, uneven walls, bifold doors, roof glazing and unusually shaped windows can all change what will work well. We use that practical knowledge during the survey, rather than leaving the fitter to discover problems after the product has been made.

How we work

• Understand the room first. Privacy, darkness, glare, heat, moisture, child safety and how often a window or door is opened all affect the right choice.
• Compare sensible options. Blinds, shutters and curtains are all on the table, so the recommendation is not forced towards one product.
• Measure properly. We check recesses, frames, handles, clearances and fixing surfaces before anything is ordered.
• Fit it as intended. Made-to-measure products only perform properly when they are installed correctly, and you should know how to use and care for them afterwards.
