Commercial Projects

Commercial case studies will be published here once projects are complete and clients have approved what we can share.

Why this page is still short

We would rather show nothing than show something that is not real. Commercial clients often have confidentiality requirements, and case studies should only be published once a project is complete and the client or main contractor has approved what we can say. Until then, this page explains what our case studies will cover and how we approach commercial work.

We will not use stock photography presented as our own projects, invented client names or estimated figures to fill this space.

What each case study will include

When projects are approved for publication, each case study will aim to show how the work was delivered, not just how it looks:

  • the sector and type of building;
  • the client's requirement and any specification points;
  • the scale of the package, where it can be shared;
  • the products, fabrics and controls used;
  • programme, phasing and access constraints;
  • the main challenge and how it was solved;
  • installation, snagging and handover;
  • photography of the completed work;
  • client comments, only where the client has given permission.

Where confidentiality applies, a case study may be anonymised — but only where the client or contract allows it.

How we deliver commercial work

Every commercial package follows the same core stages, whatever the sector:

  1. Enquiry or tender — we review drawings, schedules and specifications.
  2. Take-off and estimate — each window scheduled and priced, with assumptions stated.
  3. Clarifications and quotation — questions raised early, exclusions made clear.
  4. Survey and specification — final sizes confirmed; submittals where required.
  5. Supply and programme — orders placed against approved information and an agreed programme.
  6. Installation — coordinated with the site and other trades.
  7. Snagging and handover — operation checked, O&M information provided.
  8. Aftercare — repairs, maintenance and replacement when needed.

The sectors we work in

You can read how we approach each type of commercial project on our sector pages: developers and housebuilders, main contractors and fit-out, offices and workplace and schools and education. Solution pages cover motorised blinds and controls, commercial curtains and tracks, solar control, glare and blackout and maintenance and replacement.

What you can check now

In the meantime, you can judge how we work from how we handle your enquiry: whether our questions are the right ones, whether our quotation states its assumptions and exclusions clearly, and whether the fabric certificates, product data and programme we provide match the specification. FR fabric options are available on selected contract ranges, and certificates are supplied for the specified fabric.

Talking to us about your project

If you would like to discuss relevant experience for a specific tender, ask when you make an enquiry. We will be straightforward about what we have done that is comparable, and what we would need to confirm.

Questions we get asked

Why are there no case studies yet?

We only publish case studies from genuine completed projects once the client has approved what we can share. They will be added here as projects are approved.

Can you share relevant experience for our tender?

Yes. Ask when you enquire and we will discuss comparable work directly, within any confidentiality obligations to other clients.

Will case studies name clients?

Only where the client has agreed. Otherwise a case study may be anonymised, where the client or contract allows it.
